About this event
For some people, it’s joyful and freeing. For others, it can be complicated, uncertain, frightening, or something that happens slowly over many years.
Some people come out again and again as they enter new spaces and relationships. Some are still finding the words for who they are. Some may never feel safe sharing every part of themselves publicly.
All of those experiences deserve tenderness.
On October 10, five local faith communities will gather at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church for an Ecumenical Coming Out Celebration — a space to honor LGBTQIA+ lives, stories, relationships, and the many different paths toward living authentically.
You don’t need to have a particular story to belong in the room.
